Mark Turnowski

Mark Turnowski G.G. is the president and founder of Brilliantly Engaged, and has been a prominent member of the diamond industry for 45 years. Mark is a native New Yorker, proud grandparent, and self-proclaimed expert on sports analysis. 

Mark's career began in 1976 as a senior staff member at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in New York. He left the GIA in 1978 and became a private consultant to the diamond trade, specializing in re-cutting diamonds to maximize their clarity and cut. This position put him in contact with many members of the diamond manufacturing community, a key network he continues to leverage when selecting the finest diamonds for his customers today. Mark held the position of Laboratory Director of the International Gemological Institute (IGI), and has also consulted for numerous accounting firms such as Peat Marwick and Arthur Anderson. In 1996, Mark started his own jewelry design company, MTI Designs, featuring custom designed rings, earrings, necklaces and pendants. Among his many customers were Neiman Marcus and Saks. In 2001, Mark founded Brilliantly Engaged. Brilliantly Engaged specializes in bringing wholesale diamonds and custom jewelry to the online community. Mark has an impeccable reputation both online and offline from both the diamond industry and the private sector. This reputation, along with his vast experience in the trade, has been the foundation of Mark's continued success in the industry.

Chris brings 20 years of experience to his work at Brilliantly Engaged. His love of diamonds and his commitment to great design has helped Chris create some of the industry’s most extraordinary engagement jewerly.

During his five-year tenure as Director of Sales and Marketing for the prestigious firm Designs by Vatche, Chris served as liaison to some of the world's most renowned bridal retailers, sharing in their love of creating classic designs. Over the years, Chris accumulated a wealth of knowledge in the elite designer bridal diamond market. His highly trained eye pays close attention to the tiniest detail, curve, and finish; the hallmarks of fine jewelry. His many contacts within the bridal market allow Chris to leverage the highest degree of craftsmanship the industry offers, something he brings to BE every day. Chris focuses his attention on every customer, providing the ultimate in education, selection, and quality that Brilliantly Engaged can offer.
